Two pieces above from Andrew Parry

Ever since I found out that most of the art galleries/museums were free on the first Thursday's of the month, I have been begging Elmer to take me. After all the stress from Fiesta and a long day at work, I was excited to see what Seattle's creative minds had to offer. Anyway, the pictures I posted above are a few pieces that really caught my eye. Ugh, sadly I did not get a good picture of what I really really, really (really...) loved, which were the ceramic letters that they had at London Plane. It was also nice to finally see what was hiding inside the Seattle Asian Art Museum. I have been eager to venture in, especially since every time I've been to volunteer park it has only been to walk Truffles or take pictures of the needle. We spent maybe a good hour and a half walking around Pioneer Square, into the different galleries which all told a different story. The first gallery we went to was so dark and twisted, kind of what I would describe my worst dreams to be. AND on top of that, I totally tripped and almost flew right into one of the artist's paintings on the wall.....yeah...you literally CAN'T take me anywhere. T'was an interesting and fun filled night, can't wait for the next walk.
till then,
N
